wetsuit rash

Was hoping someone here could help, I've been using the same wetsuit for over 5 years now and just lately every time I wear it I develop a rash pretty much all over my body. I've tried using a wetsuit detergent to clean it and that doesn't seem to help. Any advice would be appreciated and before anybody says it I DON'T pee in my wetsuit.

Do a search of the forums, I am almost certain this came up not that long ago and there were some good suggestions.

not sure where u have sailed last, sometimes esp after heavy rainfall the colliform counts go way up :? Also I have a toluene (or pollen) allergy and when I get a new suit I have a rash, not bad but annoying like a few mosquito bites around the torso area....this usually resolves after a dozen days of wearing it....perhaps you have developed an allergy by being sensitized, this can happen at any time and may get worse.
Soaking the suit overnight with some very mild bleach will kill off any microbes you have in the suit but if too strong will affect the suit obviously. Also salt buildup from not rinsing well can have this effect (or pollen from hanging it outside?? if you get hayfever it can affect your skin directly), not just from the sea but lately it has been warmer so perhaps you are sweating more than you think. I would also try a full T rashy tho it may not do it, perhaps the suit is also plain worn out :?: that would make sense if all over the whole body....5 years is getting old for a suit.... and we always think "hey, I just bought that.... 5 years ago..." and it has been 10 :!:
