The typhoon in south-east asia may be tossing some energy our way. check it out.

It looks as if it has spawned a front that is headed toward us. I'm thinking it should be across the Pacific and here in a couple of days or so.
(I think our wind-weather originates just south-east of India, crosses over Malaysia where it becomes a typhoon, heads north to Japan and the Phillipines and then crosses the Pacific to either hit us or slide down from Alaska. Anybody confer?)
It would be nice to get some south-east sailing while it's still warm.
