Oregon Wavemonger, Trip #4

The August doldrums are here and apart from some puddle sailing it is time for family camping and home/RV maintenance. What keeps my stoke going is the hope for a week of "getting blown off the water" Florence in September when also hopefully the larger swells return.
This is also a good time to pick up some winter gear ordered up and take advantage of Hood River sales as well. Days are a little cooler for mountain biking. The beer selection is always great and lateron Oyster and Salmon harvesting can add some spice.
Targets for me are a week or 10 days (or maybe 3 weeks ) of sun and wind after the school year resumes and after Sept 4th. My guess is we are going to see the summer arrive/resume in September and into October this year given we had no June
I see Kevin is planning to head down, is anyone else interested The more the merrier
