I can not wait to get my hands on this one. I saw the real thing at ORHQ, and it looks fine... so fine. XL mako meets surfboard.
Anyone ride one yet?

Looks like the R&D department at OR has been working overtime lately!
What's the deal? It looks like a mega concave mini - egg surfboard?
That about sum it up?

Guys... the board is as fun as the shape looks, and I'm having as much fun as it looks like I am
We'll have them here for sale starting in March most likely.
Hit us up when we are at the beach for demoing the sample we have kicking around, although be warned that we all fight over it here in the office as it is, so you may not get much time on it
PS - thanks for the picture Erik (or should I say Sam?)

These will indeed be here in March. Contact us to reserve one now if you want... they are going to be in hot demand from what we can tell so far, so it is likely they will sold out by the time they arrive.
I've got my name on one for me

You'll probably just have to buy one Marty ;) ... nobody is going to want to lend theirs out, including me!

i was lucky enough to ride the Duke (strapless ) a few times and it goes really well. super smooth ride, carves slashes and floats really well , cranks upwind, good for airs, stable at high speed, plus it really throws the spray!! its awesome! so stoked i got to try it in some epic conditions!
if you get a chance to try it I'm pretty sure you will like it!
