No doubt print is dying across the board but...

Saw something today that windsurf.co.uk is the last English language windsurf mag in print. The latest issue just came out today, http://www.windsurf.co.uk/june-2015-iss ... print-app/. Chapters in downtown Victoria still sells them, if you`re like me and the £72.00 gbp  subscription would be better spent on a new boom.

Camping in the hood made me miss flipping through pages of Windsport and Windsurfing. And it would be expensive to tape ipads to the wall or get them signed by pros.

Windsport.com hasn't been updated since Feb, anyone know what happened? (If it helps you feel better http://www.sbckiteboard.com/ hasn't been updated since then either)

the kite mags are all quarterly....which seems to take forever between editions when you have a subscription.

as for windsurf mags....umm....maybe they'd sell better if they were in a large print format? (just joshin' )

Windsport and SBC Kite are both part of the SBC publishing conglomerate. There were rumours afloat awhile ago that they were in trouble on all fronts, but I know the editor of Windsport and he was trying to salvage it and make something happen. Not sure where that has landed so far.

You probably know him better then me, want to ask Pete and let us know? They seemed to have just stopped, the ski and board mags are still active.
