Women's Windsurfing Clinic

Hi all. I am setting up a women's only windsurfing clinic at Gyro Beach (Cadboro Bay) on Saturday June 4th from 1-5pm. The clinic will be free of charge and is open to all women. The goal of the clinic will be to introduce people to the sport of windsurfing, let everyone try it on the water and to answer any questions about the sport or the local windsurfing community.
I teach windsurfing through Coastal Cycle and Watersports so I already have 2 START boards and numerous small rigs. I also have a simulator. What I'm looking for is a few volunteers who might be interested in helping out and also some more beginner friendly boards/rigs. I'd like to get 4 or 5 boards going at once, as well as the simulator on the beach. I'm hoping to have someone at each board who feels comfortable enough to show a beginner the basics of uphauling, sheeting in etc. JUst enough to feel what windsurfing is like.
If anyone is interested in volunteering for the afternoon (or part of it) or has some beginner friendly equipment they could loan out for the day, please get in touch with me either through this site or by phone.
Since this clinic is still in it's planning stages, please feel free to make suggestions. If this clinic goes well, I'll probably organize another one at Nitinat and possibly another one for kids.
It's been awesome for me having a spouse who windsurfs so if you'd like to get your wife/girlfriend into this sport, this is a great opportunity. At the very least, she might finally understand your addiction
Thanks,
