MARINE SYNOPSIS: Widespread low clouds across the marine zones this morning will maintain reduced visibility, generally 1 to 3 nm, before gradually improving from south to north this morning. Building thermal low pressure well to our south will bring increasing northerly winds through the weekend, especially across the outer coastal waters. Along with these winds, expect seas to build and to become steep as they are dominated by this locally generated swell. A front will then move into the waters early next week, with increasing northwest/west wind (with around a 30% chance for gales across the northern coastal waters and parts of the Strait of Juan de Fuca) and seas building to around 10 feet over the coastal waters.
