Forecast for wind and weather for Friday, July 11.

Wind did not kick in until after lunch, initially rather weak but it did pick up and a fresh breeze was blowing all day to make it a great day on the lake.

For tomorrow we expect a similar day, except the temperature difference will be substantially more than on Thursday. The coast is expecting a high of 19C, while inland is expecting a high of 30C, resulting in a temperature gradient of 11C. The forecast is still predicting a mostly cloudy sky at the coast, a mix of sun and clouds inland.

Bottom line: Expect a strong day, a strong breeze (25kts) or even more, maybe a near gale wind (30kts.).

Outlook, conditions are looking great for the weekend and into Monday. Forecast is calling for double digit temperature differences for all three days.
