Perfect Nitinat wind day. Not too many kites on the water for a long weekend. Only issue I had was the incredibly long walk from the parking lot to my beach camp site. Left my car at 9:00 PM and did not arrive at my tent until 3:00 AM. 6 hour walk to tent could be blamed on rum, beer, the sauna and Teabag, who is clearly the best sauna social director in history. :D

Tried to get up for the dawn patrol (and should have), but anyhow, got to the Hatchery and on the water at 10:00 AM and had a somewhat nice session (especially early) for just over an hour on the 5.3 m2, then had to swim in 20 m as the wind dropped substantially, everyone bobbing.

Set the lads up in the Hook, coached them ‘till they got tired of me and then I rigged and off I went out into the river from the Hook, blasted up to the Hatchery on the 5.3 m2 sail and back for a very fun 2 hour session. Loaded up the car and off to Doug’s for a late session. Arrived to light winds, rigged up the Go for the lads, and they lasted about 30 minutes max, but the cool factor was getting Ben to beach start a couple of times.
