Too bad it was never 5.3, what I rigged. 1/2 the time 5.8 so I was slogging and other 1/2 4.7 and rip your sail out of your hands gusty. Tried out the Evil Twin. Sure is nice on the wave, although harder to get up wind and pop onto a plane than the Freewave. Waves seemed to die at the end. Some good rides were had but you had to work for them. Find them, link some sections, and hope you didn't get blown off them. Hard to find the waves in the 2.5 foot cross chop. Nasty. Warm and sunny and lots of 80's tunes along the way.
