Filled the requirements of a second session (dressed in the wet wetsuit and could have gone to another venue :wink:) after a trip to HR to return the demo board. Wind had got a lot stronger during my absence, rigged the 4.0. Had a couple of slightly underpowered runs, followed by some river-wide slogs and swims, switched to the 4.5 with little better result. Should have quit after the morning bliss.
Great drive back up Wind River, up to Windy Ridge to get a spectacular look at Mt St Helens, and took a year's worth of brake lining off keeping up with a pack of sport bikes on the road down again! I suspect they were surprised to see the Sprinter in their rear view mirrors as they were scraping the pegs on the slow-to-20 turns! Took a while to clean up the carnage in the Sprinter afterwards, but fun!
