After having my recent crash and reflecting on a few things I came up with this idea. What if there was a club that held say casual monthly meetings at a restaurant/coffee shop. all advice is good advice...........Planning a trip down south to hone the skills. I am quickly learning winter wind is all storm wind and can be pretty gnarly. And yeah it does seem SW always turns to west there...........and off shore.

how about a few more suggestions on kite size...........230lbs and 12 meter ?? would 14 be too big ?? how about me at 190lbs looking for 15-25 knot wind range SLE ?? who fits the bill out there ??

Thanks for the replies. Here is what I did. I bought 2 inch rip stop sail tape at west marine ($15). Cleaned the area with isopropal alcohol, rounded tape corners and applied tape about one inch longer that the tear. I have a small (one inch) tear in my canopy ?? any repair ideas ?? who does best pro repairs in town ?? Will tape alone be good enough ??
