Haha Thanks. Glad you liked it. Yeah I learned a lot on this one - what to do as well as what not to do... Anyway filters: nothing unusual on camera, ND filters occasionally, CPL often, but not always. Most of the editing was done in post using after effects and then premiere. Soundtrack... i can't ...

Got some amazing footage at tofino yesterday with my main cam, threw the sd card into my gopro and then proceeded to drop my gopro in the middle of cox bay. thats gopro #2... sad day, epic conditions though.

Thanks guys - glad you liked it. Winddoc - you'll enjoy that 7D they are such great cameras for filming with. Get some cheap but great quality nikkor lenses - $100-$150 bucks off ebay, excellent quality. (less painful if you destroy them in the wilderness that way too...) Pastadude - yeah its become...

a few things I know about the spit... 1. Bubble effect: usually occurs in late summer/early winter and spring. Wind is visible and likely present at other spots, read: alders etc. but a "bubble" seems to form around the bay area. 2. When kiting and wind shifts out of the west this usually*...

That being said there is certainly no harm in steering someone away from dallas road to a beach in parksville or kye bay in comox or nitinat - that being said having other experienced kiters around might be equally as valuable as a "safe" spot.
