Hey C36, I think a lot of us will still be down the week of July 2. I'm going to be headed down on the Monday 25th, with up to 2 weeks on the road, either coast or gorge. It would be fun to rip up some waves with you.

Here's a video that shows a step-by-step approach. This is great advice if you're learning. One key point, which is not well taught, is to bring your mast to windward - on Kook St starboard looping (going out) this means bring the sail towards the right side of the board (windward). It greatly impro...

The Lurker

With these super low tides, the dreaded Cook St lurker rock starts to become a factor. Just when you've congratuated yourself for pinching upwind past the outer reef -- BAM - the lurker claims another fin! Here's what it looked like at low tide today.

I can see the main point --> lack of consent to be radiated or submit to privacy invasions. For me, this is my biggest concern about smart meters. There are arguably other health risks and privacy invasions that people readily accept, and could be worse for your health or privacy... for example: 1. ...

Kiteschools near San Juan, Puerto Rico?

Hi,

I'm looking for anybody who can recommend a decent kite school near San Juan, Puerto Rico. I'll be there for a few days in March and was thinking about taking a lesson or two.

I like this guideline. One thing to keep in mind when you are coming towards the beach is ...

MOREWIND in OR

Later start this year as my wife is off on her vacation in the 3rd week of June. Need to confirm the dates, but I should be free to go:
