After reading Paul session log in LB and comparing wind from LV for this past Sat/Sun (checking LV session log, 18-25kts vs 35 kts in LB), it reminded me a post on kiteforum that said that LB wind is stronger when its 20mph +, but wind was better when its under 18mph in LV. Flippers would have make all the difference, he would have been back ashore in ~ 60-90 minutes... (if after 2 hours the guy was still 300yds, current where strong enough to maintain his position or getting draft offshore very, very slowly without them, but with flippers he would have been able to do...
