2 windsurfing experiences: After work and the Camping Exp.

The perfect vehicle depends on the kind of trip to the beach. A 2 hour dip and back home again is a different kind of vehicle than a drive to location and camp for a day or two. Although I see the point about the combo wagon for both experiences...Good point BigD AFTER WORK WINDSURF I like to keep a...

I have started building

I have decided to go behind the door( I have 9 inches to work with). The 2X4 rack is also the door stop to protect the board(s). Thanks for that thread. I didn't think about the benefits of standing up the sails. I am trying to store the gear in a small as area as possible in a place that is protect...

Small shop Windsurfing storage

Thanks Kus - I know I can use some of your ideas. I have no cars in the Shop (I shouldn't have said garage). It is my tool shop and I have a wall and a roof. I would like to keep things high to make more room for other things below. I like the sound of the storage config. I don't have the 100,000 vo...

Windsurfing Storage

Anyone have a setup in their garage they care to share a photo of?

I am looking for a good design of windsurfing storage. I am really looking for ideas.

I have searched the net and haven't found any pics that really grab me.

Time

In the top eastern 1/4 of the province the time does not change in the winter. Rationale... It is dark all the time in the winter anyway and light all the time in the summer. Changing time didn't make sense so they voted against it ( Prince George north to Fort Nelson). I would like more light after...

Ultimate Windsurfing wagon

Dodge Grande Caravan Long enough to hold a 165 cm Go Board and much more with 3 seats still functional. 27m/gal I used to have a GL-10? Subaru 4wd and sold it to Recklass Rick for parts(great for making good time out to Nitnat). Last I saw he was using it for a windsurfing wagon. That was great for ...

Power outtage

We just got our power back in Mill Bay. It went out Sat about 3:30 and returned sometime before we came home at 9:30pm. This is the second outtage in a week.
Lots of debris flying through the air!!

Congratulations

Great to hear!

My wife is due at the end of March, early April. We won't be at the lake this year(we will be in Japan), but looking forward to seeing you up at the lake the following summer. I am sure my wife would love to meet your wife.

Trend? or here to stay...I suppose I had a walkman for music to enrich my experiences...I guess lately I have enough to listen to (at work) and that is why I enjoy the sound of the wind whistling past my ears and the sound of the board skipping accross the water.

Nice thread

bright article of clothing and a warm suit... hmm

I know it is worth the money and will be my next investment.

.. especially because I have been the only one out there more than a few times.

Stove

WRECKLASS!!! I have been so terribly busy this week that I haven't got to THE STOVE yet. I just saw a stove that looks like it has been outside for a very long time(air tight with glass front and two man lift). I will have a look on Sunday. Tomorrow the electrician returns. He is makin' $40/hour on ...

Shootin' ... for what...?

I have been workin' on puttin' a suite in my home. When the rent comes in... after a few years... I should be able to afford a dry suit for the winter sailing, or better yet a trip somewhere warm to sail in the winter months. Does this have anything to do with this post? I think I hit more than my t...

Dip and sip

The wetsuit would be for the "DIP", and the wood stove (sauna) would be for the "SIP"
