Quoting Keen:"For hardly sailing these days I really know how to pick'em big and bad! Pretty fun session trying to catch waves but really had trouble with timing things right. Always seemed to be either nothing at all around me or a massive freight train chasing me down -- but if you're not out there you're not learning... Some waves were massive and breaking on the outside where you least expected. Had one scary rinse cycle while still hooked in trapped under my sail looking for air......"

wahoo, impressive, Keen Shocked Yes, definately photo of the week worthy for sure, but with the current dimensions, it doesn't fit. Winddoc, if it can be cropped and continue to maintain it's quality, we could post it proudly for POW soon Idea
bwd   [Feb 27, 2012 at 11:57 AM]
Yeah its Keens fault for riding such a wide wave and messing up the photo of the week dimensions. Thanks a lot Keen.
winddoctor   [Feb 27, 2012 at 12:08 PM]
Sigh. All this work for a stupid little wave...
Sandy Beach   [Feb 27, 2012 at 12:17 PM]
There's more than meets the eye, than a 'simple' little request for POW. Great suggestion, Joostio and Jelly. Keen outrunning this monster wave is certainly worth it Smile

Can't stop at 13 comments, that might be bad luck and he'll fall and be eaten by the monster! Does puckering help to sheet in and get speed so as not be overtaken, Keen? Ever look back at that one Shocked Question

SB, I joke. I'm stoked to crop it for you!
