Why would someone risk their sailboat leaving it anchored in Cordova Bay? Question Crying or Very sad

I wonder how long it is going to sit on the beach?
KUS   [Dec 07, 2009 at 06:29 PM]
wonder how the bilge pump is working at that angle Embarrassed I bet the boat is fine, sand and all, getting it off the beach could be a trick Exclamation
Russian Dood   [Dec 07, 2009 at 07:52 PM]
yeah... just hire a crane and pull it out at low tide

After checking it out up close, that boat is barely worth the cost to salvage it. Kus - not all sailboats have a true 'bilge' and thus a bilge pump, my boat for instance. Strange I know, but apparantly quite common in sub 30' sailboats.
