Hey,

Is it this time of year already? Where various bwd'ers question my manhood and try to manipulate/antagnoize me into coming to Oregon?

This must have skipped my mind as I have been too busy skiing and not paying attention to this bwd site.....teton gravity is where it's at in winter.

Just sitting at Maple Falls, WA store.....using wifi. Today was day 65 at Baker....we had 13" of fresh pow yesterday.

Funny enough I had a couple of sips of Fireball on the chairlift today with the Glacier Ski Shop boys.

So 2014 may be the year for Oregon for me. I have a pretty open summer.....we'll see. I may just come down for the Fireball!

Let the manhood questioning begin!

4 days in a row this week. Keep an eye on next week end, Easter In Florence! :D Has anyone sailed down there this early in the year?

I had a couple great days with mast breaking waves at the cape en route to Santa Cruz two years ago. Would've been the last week in April. No complaints, warmer water than June, stayed at the beachcomber.

Booking Jun 19 - Jul 1 tentatively. Mmm... Gold Beach burritos or Sunset pizza and DQ caramel sundaes. Oh, and windsurfing too. Bring it. How's it looking for the rest of the crew?

i am still thinking im going, but 9 weeks post-clavicle fracture i might just need a little help from the team here and there, rigging, carrying gear to the water, lifting heavy burritos, washing hard-to-reach places that sort of thing. I have a travel window roughly june 27-july 6. :D

I'm booking a 2 week window that I would leave as early as the evening of June 20. If the weather doesn't look good for sailing or surfing I'll delay and leave June 27 and return around July 5 or 6th.

Either way I'm only going to take one week off from work.

I'm 100% flexible, I may go down and do the SC and Pistol contests and then do round deuce with the Island Crew.

Hey Kus,

Leaning towards Nitinat for the May Long Weekend....or Gorge? Thursday night (May 15) to Monday night (May 19) as I have to teach the Tues and Thurs of the week after the long weekend. So it has to be a short trip.

I am open from approx. June 26 - July 20.....no teaching in there. Nitinat, Gorge, Pacheedaht or O Coast are all possibilities?
