I must say that wave sailing is the best form of windsurfing!!
fun to see some of the twists and riders actually landing off the lips or going over the top.

pretty impressive windsurfing. The lineup shot at 6mins reminds me of being at The Wall in northern Baja many years ago. We were surfers, not yet wind chasers, and were huddling behind rocks trying to get out of the relentless wind. A wind surfer arrived and proceeded to rip the s**t out of the place, with 20 foot floaters connecting sections....it looked just like that, just with side onshore wind rather than offshore. All of us thinking "holy crap, that looks fun"....too bad it took nearly 20 more years to get on it!

Looks so easy! If only it could be done in slo-mo instead of in real time. When I'm going that fast, the last thing I want to do is intentionally crash.

That wave looks like a kindergarten this year, wishing for some knarly JR days for sure. God I love the idea of that place on a warm summer day tho. Good wave times ahead I hope another month + of the doldrums and lake sailing, then we're back at it
