Well, technically speaking you can't insert image in a sense the it will be physically stored there, but you can insert a link to the image. To do that the picture you want to insert must be accessible from the Internet, in other words it should be somewhere on one of the public websites, such as http://bigwavedave.ca/gallery for instance.

OK, here is what we do.

1. Open picture in the browser
2. Right click on the picture and select Copy Image location from pulldown menu. ( It may be called differently, I don't use IE and I don't remember how exactly it's called there )
3. Open sailing log and start a new record
4. In the text area type

   Code: Select all

   [img]paste here your image location[/img]

5. Save the record

It's done.
