The Golden helmet was looking for a new owner at CB today. There was talk, and some hope ... but, it didn't turn into that gonzer loop type of day. And, Paul's loops don't count cuz he's a veteran. So, I'm going to nurture it awhile longer. IV tomorrow afternoon?

thanks for keeping things running

Hey Dave -- thanks for sacrificing your day to maintain the site. This site is like crack for the wind addicts, and we all really appreciate your many efforts.

Note: this reminded me to visit Mr Paypal to ante up some coin to support the site.

But ... what's this ... some dood is coming OUT thru the break, spots your wave, and decides to squeeze between...

Heading out on the 7:30pm Coho on Friday. BWD also.

Not totally sure where I'm headed. But, likely it'll be Flo for some SUPing on Saturday, then to GB for Sunday.

The planned OR trip is on-hold for me, waiting for the coast forecast to improve. Tentatively, I'm looking at heading out Friday evening. Days 8 and 9 of the pressure model are looking good for Pistol :D :D Some hope.

Any pointers on what is a 'good' and 'bad' forecasts look like on this model Right now it's hard to show a good forecast because every day of the 9 day pressure model is bad for the S Oregon coast. I'll try to describe a good forecast in words, then add a graphic when a decent forecast shows up. Fo...

today held the update to the RD forum that I've feared would come ... while this day seemed inevitable, I've seen people recover from the brink, and I held out some hope.
