U-Stick Replacement LE Bladder Valve?

Post by WindePendanT »

Has anyone got an extra one I could buy?
I almost ordered one from Airtime Boardsports,
But the shipping is more than the valve!
So I thought I'd ask here first.

Or, does anyone want to go in on an order?
They are $15.00 each or 6 for $12.00 each.

I'd give Ocean Rodeo a shout, they had mentioned getting odds and ends/repair bits in to their storefront (see the Ocean Rodeo Outlet Store Inventory Preferences thread)
Good Luck!

Thanks.
But did that.
They offered a valve off an old kite(without asking if it was an OR, Thanks John for being helpful), but I would rather have the self adhesive kind if I can.

Maybe try Greg from Comox Kite Repair. http://www.comoxkiterepair.ca/
he might have something for you.

I'm pretty sure Mark at Elevation has them for sale if you are heading up to Nitnaht at all.

I went up Friday.
Got a valve from Mark and Marrie at Elevation Kiteboarding.
Thanks guys!
Then on the water by 1:00ish. Little bit of cloud cover shut off the wind temporarily... But then, BOOM! Classic Nitinat conditions!
My 8m would have been perfect, but I took out the 10 and jumped a little higher :O
So glad I took the day off!
Then back home in time for the lightning show in Vic(BOOM!)

The sauna looks better (again) this year!
And get this... Hot tub anyone!?!
Cut right into a very large fallen tree up by the river mouth.
Extra lumber being milled from a fallen tree beside the day parking outhouse!
Some copper coiling for heat and a sump for moving water!
I love Nitinat!
It gets better every year.
