Girlonaboard Kite School Moves to Port Alberni May 2016

Post by girlonaboard »

GIRL ON A BOARD KITE SCHOOL opens up a second location in Port Alberni. We are so excited to provide lessons in Port Alberni. We will be operating out of China Creek Camp Ground.

The team of Girl on a Board is an all female team and we offer lessons to everyone. We all love teaching and are excited to share our joy for the sport with more people on Vancouver Island. We all have years of experience and are accredited IKO certified teachers. We use brand new gear, radio assisted helmets and jet ski assisted lessons. Our lesson plan is designed to empower our students to be able to practice on their own after the lessons are completed.

Since this is our first year in Port Alberni we will be offering for a limited time a 2-1 intro to kiteboarding beginner lesson. Please go online at www.girlonaboard.org to learn more and to book your kitesurfing lesson online. Or you can email me directly at . Looking forward to riding with everyone in Port Alberni and to meet your friends and family who would like to take kiteboarding lessons with us in this beautiful kite spot.

If you have not ridden in Port Alberni it has warm weather, warm water, daily thermal winds and flat water. An ideal place to learn and with an amazing team available to teach you

GirlonaBoard Kiteboard School in PA

Post by Sandy Beach »

The SouthPort Kiteboarding group is stoked for Nicole's team to come to Port Alberni this season!

We were happy to connect in LaVentana this January to provide some info re. council, economic development, PAPA and local contacts to ease the transition for start-up here.

Things have been moving along quickly this winter for GirlonaBoard.

There is a lot of interest perculating in our community with people of all ages asking about signing up for kiteboarding lessons for this summer. We anticipate a bustling, fun season of windsports on Alberni inlet.
Life is all about balance, and a dose of healthy wind addiction
