Really? I thought it was great site, though my French isn't too good. He was an incredible adventurer, I didn't realize part of the Marequeses windsurfing crossing was actually done by kite at night till I saw the pic here. How many kiters on this forum would sleep on a board while kiting? Encroiyable!

Whats the Baron doing now Jl? Feeding the fishes somewhere between CHina and Formosa.

Demo weekend

Post by Bobson »

I'm heading up to the lake on either Wednesday night or Thursday morning and returning on Sunday sometime. Can't wait to try some new gear. When are others planning on heading up...?? There will be formalized slalom racing on Sat(if there's wind) and course racing any afternoon/evening there is good wind(>10 and <20kts). Any Volunteers will be more than welcome.

I'll have some prizes for both catagories and I'll bring the GPS and we can have a speed event to see how quick we are....I would like to see the kite speeds so KSD, pump up that big kite dude!!

I'm looking forward to the crab-feast and I'll be bringing some juicy steaks and potatoes to go with it!! If anyone is still needing/wanting a BWD/windsurfing/Kiteboarding shirt I have some still left so get em quick before they are all gone.

Demo's

Post by Bobson »

I know it's only Tuesday evening but when is the Demo's going to be decided one way or the other..?? The Sorta latest pull out time..?? I am planning on heading up either Wed night or Thurs morning but part of my decision is based on some demo's at the lake.

Reading Randy's Nitinat 3-cast there still seems to be a chance of some good stuff....hmmmm...??

Demos

Post by TURTLE »

After the 7th of July I am ready to demo some boards. In the summer I can go any day of the week so if the wind is blowin' I should be there.

I am looking for a newish freestyle 90ish L board.
I am looking for an older cheap 80 L board.
