don't mean to burst the bubble, but I'm pretty sure Nitinaht Pat can lay claim to the first session at Nitinaht...Good to know it's on though!

Hi DownwindDave. Thanks for the feedback. It is my buddy's birthday and we were hoping to catch an "on Day" Tuesday. but it looks like we will have to plan another day. what do you use as your source for determining Nitinat weather?

Thanks again for the reply.

Cheers

Hi Ken, my wind guess is just my feeling based on a simple look at the forecast. since 2004 via the website we have been co-relating forecasts to actual conditions reported in the sailing log and more recently what we see real time on the webcam. Wind in April is typically sketchy at best and without a bomber setup i wouldn't have high hopes. that said, 'you never know unless you go"!

Scan down in the weather topics or better yet do a forum search, you will find a massive wealth of information on predicting Nitinat.

Nitinat newbie question....is it likely to work there on a weather call like this weekend? It is an outflow easterly in JDF....any impact up there? Or is the heat inland all you need?

Ha, pasta ... you will learn soon that "mother's day" is code word for "the woman who bore my children gets to do whatever she wants all day, with slave labour added on top", in return for roughly 364 days of dad and kids getting our way. Well, not exactly, but something like that. Nat, no nat, later nat.
