The Sauna thread.

Windfest and some local sponsors including Anian surfboards, and most likely (but I haven't asked them yet) Golden Rule and Marty from Strong are going to resurrect the sauna this year. It's an iconic part of Nitinat.

First off thanks to all those who built it before. If anyone would like to help, contribute supplies, tools or otherwise please let me know. If anyone knows how it fits together, that would be very helpful.

We know the stove needs to be welded and that we need some lumber. And we will take it down at the end of the season.

So please don't be shy, all help appreciated.

Sweet. I got a PM from someone who knows how to assemble it.

Tentative weekend of June 6th to assemble the Sauna. I'll start getting the ducks in a row. If you're around Nanmoo great to have you.

And welcome to the kite side of the force.

There are barn raisings with the amish. And sauna raisings with us.

The sauna has always been a big part of my Nitnaht experience. I will be up there for the 6th happy to help. I was up last week the stove is half buried in the sand. Might need to be replaced. I will bring up some power tools Drills and screws. It would be great to get it going again. Geoff
