love that they "contacted University teacher Frank Fish PhD" so whales are more agile in encircling their prey.....we would expect to see similar protuberances on the fins of the prime ocean predator, sharks, no? maybe they will come out with fins that have denticles on them  watch your hand when installed them tho, sharp as hell :D

I've got to say I'm skeptical, I like Makani Fins, but similar things have been tried before...

I'm pretty sure I've seen something identical from the 80s kicking around at a swap meet.

That is going to hurt (like banging your shin against a serrated knife!).

I thought that was an old April fool's joke. If not, the story of the near capitation of the snorkler at the board test would have been completed with this fin. I suppose since that was fatal anyway it wouldn't have made a difference but the optics for the sport would have been even worse.

I'm sure many peoples surnames influence their choice of career. It's way too common to be random.

you would think some sort of jet fighter would have this design if it was so efficient.

I think I should legally change my last name to McWindsurf 8) the .com domain is available, also an important part for choosing a last name.
