Wow! A great Nitinat day. Got on the water at noon and off at 5:45pm with a couple of snack breaks. Spent the entire day on small gear. The wind cranked up really nicely at 4:30 and there were still people sailing at 9pm. Magical!!! :D :D :D :D

Filled the requirements of a second session (dressed in the wet wetsuit and could have gone to another venue :wink:) after a trip to HR to return the demo board. Wind had got a lot stronger during my absence, rigged the 4.0. Had a couple of slightly underpowered runs, followed by some river-wide slogs and swims, switched to the 4.5 with little better result. Should have quit after the morning bliss.

First time at Squamish. Great wind, but very bizarre launch site shenanigans. Watching racers launching was a cross between a three stooges episode and the chariot race in Ben Hur: launching kites with other, non-racer, kites wrapped over lines and lines wrapped around other lines made for some pretty interesting carnage. today was one of my very best days , good control , some toeside turns with attitude ,and minor mishap when I got too close to the beach on the uowind side of the creek and hit the dead zone and my kite fell in the water and I had a drift and beach landing with gear pack up and walked 200 meters to the launch and jason helped me launch , Second session was beter because much more power and the usual smooth waves setting up in front of Martins

Another fantastic day on the water. Huge counter-current inside. Watched Martin do a ton of kite-loop-forward-rolls. Maybe I'll try that one day. Came in when the warm wind began puffing off the land. Back out with the Watson's as they brought stronger wind for us all. Finished up with a nice dinner with JL & Uta. Life is good on the west coast! :D

Must have been pretty NW, i've never seen it that calm inside the bay with still good wind past the point. 10 minute slogs to get out to the wind, then planing 90% of the time after that. Two thumbs way up for whoever decided to dump a 4'x8' sheet of plywood into the ocean, you almost got me. Lost two races to Zodiak whale watching boats, but put up a good fight, and made sure to smile for the cameras. :D

Teaching early in the day. Wind started howling so I took out the 2010 rise for a go.
A little twitchy at first. Looping it without even meaning to... :roll: ... but after I got the feel for it, she was a lot of fun.
Big airs and nice quick loops 8) :twisted:
Really fun kite to ride.
Sun, warm water, and lots of steady wind!
