Re: WANTED: Armstrong A+ Wing Foil Setup (HS1850-Based)

Hey Ben - I have an MA1225 I could sell for $450. An amazing foil to progress on. I used it as my only foil for 2 summers. I also have a flow 235 in decent shape that I could put together for $600.

Re: Victoria Weather stations

For future forecast the “show all” button by Model 1 and Model 2 at the top will give you a week out rather than 3 days.

I use Ogden, and the webcam to see texture. Before heading down. For me if Ogden is over 15kts - it will be just foldable at RB.

I would log 100% of my sessions and I know a lot more would if it just automatically linked to Stava.

Re: Wing Gloves - Winter

My 3m Quiksilver gloves have been holding very strong for almost a year IE no holes at all.

They have less traction on the palms and fingers which I feel usually tugs the neoprene to pieces.

Re: Foiling Flat Tires

Thanks for the responses...

Yeah I was thinking its the mast... I also have a bigger board (110L) plus me and my weight might be adding to some flex.

@MrNorthSouth yesterday in the big winds, I was noticing if I focus on not putting too much angle on the mast while pushing hard up wind it ...

Foiling Flat Tires

Do others have issues with pushing the foil aggressively upwind at speed and suddenly it feels like your foil just blows out??

I have heard air can make it down the mast and cavitates the foil.

Older Valve Repair - Ocean Rodeo

I have an older Ocean Rodeo Kite that needs to have the valves replaced.

I am handing it off to a friend to get started and he would like to have them fixed.

Any suggestions on best place to have fixed?

Thanks,
Brett
