You should see us at the spit on a true SE, you can actualy cut up wind, jump over the crowds of people on shore only to be pulled back into the bay on landing. We have also had some brave photographers venture out in the cold water with expensive cameras.

Saratoga has the best wind angle for SE, almost all on shore so you can ride the whole beach. Not the smoothest sand... Kye Bay would be good on N or better on rare NE and low tide. Nimkish is my local spot to kite all summer. I have given up on the crowds at Nitnaht.
