FOUND: Kiteboard

Upon further inspection I noticed a name and # on the board. It turns out the original owner (in Seattle) sold it a couple of years ago to a guy in Bellingham.
I'm looking for opinions on how long I should hold off before putting this kiteboard up for sale (all proceeds will be donated to BWD).

Windsurfing in Sidney

If you are looking for year round sailing, you'll need big gear. I've sailed a few times at the north end of Lochside before Mctavish with mediocre results. Again IV is too close to ignore. For Westerlies, Pat Bay can be up and down alot, but not so noticeable with bigger gear. Watch for float plane...

Just my 2 cents worth as I am not a kiter, but I would not recommend learning to kite at Pat Bay simply because of the float planes. Last week when I was windsurfing there on a westerly, a float plane approached for a landing from the north end of the bay, flew parallel to the road and landed at the...

All Users of Pat Bay please take note:

During a much needed rest at the beach at Pat Bay today, I was visited by an RCMP officer AND an Airport Commissionaire. They were concerned that the sailors, (3 or 4 kiters, plus myself, the lone windsurfer  ) were venturing to far south into the float planes flight path. Truly, I don't beli...

For those unable to attend (like myself)

http://www.crd.bc.ca/_contact/?l=islandview_response

This is a brief questionnaire found in the CRD newsletter. It could really add some strength in numbers from the wind community.

Boom found at Pat Bay

Yes, I know who drives a green Element, and was windsurfing at Pat Bay on May 3... it's me! However, the boom is not mine.

Using the model

I'm what you might call a "weekend warrior" when it comes to windsurfing, but I frequently use the model and try to plan my "weekend" accordingly. I find it a much more reliable source than EC, and the details are unsurpassed. It would be a huge loss to loose access to this signi...

You could also try Blackline Marine in Sidney, they did a "stand-up" job on my board last year.
