When I was in Cabarete pre-pandemic, there was a kite school that was pushing an upcycling initiative. Old kites we're being cut up and sewn into some nice bags/etc by locals, and then retailed in the school's shop. There's a news post from 2022 about an island company doing something similar with ...

Hey @bobson,
I've wingfoiled several times on the inside of Goose Spit in Comox in a SE. It works pretty well if the tide coincides with the wind. Just give the anchored boats some room, and be careful not to go too far on starboard, i.e. I ran aground a couple of times.

This is an RSC Joker. It is in Comox now.
The colour looks like it has been out in the sun for a long time, but overall looks to be in fine condition.
Please claim or suggest who might have use for a spare board.
