these are not the pumps you are looking for....
backdrop to a place i was surfing last year . first thing i saw when i got there was all these signs warning of radioactive particles found on the beach . next thing you see is this tractor fitted with giant geiger counter type gear on the front of it combing up and down the beach. i asked the driver if it was safe to surf and he yelled , "You've been warned !" in the foreign language . i kept wondering where all the other surfers were as i stared out at the giant rusty nuclear dome. i do feel smarter now though so...

On another note, I'm far from an alarmist, but this one freaks me out:

2053 nuclear explosions since 1945? Crap, that can't be good.

re how many nuke detonations.
Yes. I saw that one some time ago. Makes you think doesn't it? Along with depleted uranium rounds used by the US military where ever they go and they are ragging on other countries about possessing chemical weapons or maybe producing nukes. Sounds a bit like bullying to me. Only one country has used nukes on another nation and we all know who that is. All nuclear weapons need to be dismantled as well as nuclear power plants which can be converted to boil water a much safer way. Nuff said. Smiles.
