| Details | Tricky session. Time limited because of a dinner commitment at 530pm. The wind seemed to back off just as I launched, and I spent more than an hour taxiing back and forth but failing to get on foil. I couldn't seem to get out of the tideline and each time I looked back I had baby kelp streamers dangling off my stern. What little there was of the wind then shifted to the west and it looked like I was going to have to do a huge walk of shame. Just as I gave up all hope the wind then finally picked up, I quickly got on foil, raced out to the point, came back in and packed up to make it to dinner on time.
