Some amazing swell for the first half, then it suddenly disappeared. Probably could have been on the 4.0 but the tiny sail sure felt light and easy to depower on the waves. Great rides and lots of good crashes. So fun. Lots of foilers out!

Perfect conditions! First half on the 4.0 was okay, but the swell was on the small side. Came in to rig the 3.4, went out and the swell had doubled in size. So fun. Perfect wind and wave angles to get depowered for some nice long rides. Sunny too

Again down to the beach by myself. Kite fluttered around for awhile then just enough to wind to head out. Enjoyed a few laps and with a real high tide able to track straight into the kiddy pool. Back out to the main area and the wind petered out. Fortunately I was right at the beach so my kite dropped onto land  A couple of foilers were setting up on the beach hoping but there was nothin' left.

First of all, what an idiot... This whole time I thought it was a 140L Starboard GO, not sure where I changed that in my mind, but its actually a 170L... anyways, thought I’d put the foil in anyways and see what happens, put a leash on it. Interesting different feel and the bit of lift I was getting when it was a bit windier when I first got there seemed to help it plane, so got moving pretty quick, but definitely way too beastly heavy to lift my fat ass up and out at all. Still, awesome time out there<b>......</b>

WING-foiling: Beautiful sunny day with 13-20 knots. Some good swell outside and occasionally inside too! Got to try out the new Axis foil, it's really nice but was still waiting for my longer 90cm mast so went out with the "low tide" surf 68cm and proceeded to breach quite frequently as I'm used to 85cm+ for winging. Quite a few kites (6 ish) and 3 of us new toy wing ding guys! Juandesooka and Brad wingers. G is sooo nice! Can't wait for better freedom days, more wind and more G spot!

Quick walk with Sharon and the cat this morning showed more wind than model predicted. Raced around home with Sharon doing an adult easter egg hunt that Luke did all the hiding for. All the while sipping a fresh coffee. Quickly raced down to the beach to rig after 4 hours of all that family stuff. Timed it perfectly for the lighter wind with some still nicely formed waves rolling in over the diminishing sand bar breaks. Every slog out was rewarded with an easy ride into the shallows repeat after repeat as t<b>......</b>

A bit late on the log but better late than never. Quick session at Ross with the foil club. Most local members present. Good to see some real people for a change.
First time out on the foil since last September. Super rusty. Lots of crashes on jibes. My skills are definitely nowhere near the others -- got some work to do! Still fun to get out in the mostly sunny warm day.
