Got up to the lake at about 12:45, and on the water about 2:45. Wind was pretty strong (@14) for the first 45 minutes, then slowly dropped. Came up a bit later, a dude was just going out at 5:30 in the 9-10 knots that was still around. Great to be on the water with Sandra and Grant and Tam and Ger. Was using the 16m. It is a great kite.

Got to the lake at noon, no wind so we ate lunch and waited. Bobson was the first person on the lake at about 130, and he was schlogging on the big stuff. He looked lonely so I joined him at 2:00 and schlogged for a little less then an hour before the wind came up. The wind filled in nicely for about 45min and then died of quite quickly. Beauty day to be out there and I have a sunburned face to prove it. Completed my first jibe so the trip was well worth it.

First time on the Kombat95. Declin dropped it off at 9am. It's raining and blowing. First time sailing at Centennial. Overpowered on the 5.0 and I keep getting launched off the rolllers. Great fun though and am exhausted after 1.5 hours. Forgot to remove the sleeve from the footstrap screws. No wonder they were so tough to screw in!

Arrived at Ditidaht at 1:15pm, Chris B. was sitting on the beach rigging. I rigged up my new RS3 11.0m and Formula 156. This setup is so sweet!! Up on a plane right away and steady, even pull. WOW!! Sailed from 2 till 3 on the 11.0 and then used the HSM 8.0m for 30 mins still cooking. Changed back to the 11.0 from 3:30 till 4:30pm, then came in as I was super tired from heading up to the island 4 times and back down to the village. Amazing warm and sunny. 10/10 sailing. :D :D :D

Amazing day! First time at the spit & I was very impressed. Arrived at Comox & was very surprised to be the only one there are as it looked like perfect conditions to me. Wade showed up as I was rigging up & gave me a launch on the 12m. Mistake! It was way too windy for a 12m & did 1/2 hour of survival kiting. Got back to shore & rigged the 9m. Perfect size, even getting overpowered at times. Nice lofty jumps in the surging winds. Ate sh$t hard on a failled kiteloop. Attempted and landed ... (more)

A sweeeeet day! Got to try my 2 new boards  The RRD is nice and slashy and feels great for a 90L board. Tried some backs and a few Vulcans on it. The wind picked up around 1pm and I got on the Evo70 just when the sand bar kicked up some waves. The Evo felt great and just loves to smack the lip. Tried lots of backs with it. Kind of sinky when the wind dies but it planes up easily. Fantastic day...must gamble on the 20-30 forecast more often...it's worth it. ooooeee

Feeling preaty rusty. Could have been a great day but I was not on my

I had a scary experience while body dragging for my board. A sealion jumped out of the water a few feet in front of me.

I rig 5.4 thinking it's kinda 4.8 but I can drop a boardsize later; speeding into water I go, I note it's down a bit, well ok, still good, couple of sloggs, then planing, coupla heli's & tacks, dropped again, shit. Rerig??, man I am tempted  , it's soooo nice, warm!! Back to beach & work while still dry for later try.

Sunny 8) excellent wind for the big gear. 5 guys out....well except the Ruskie didn't actually make it out and could have possibly killed the wind by coming....HA, just joking! Forgot my booties so feet were on the edge of being cold..HA!! Burgers, beer and veggie stir fry was de-flippin-licious!! thank Col. Kustard! :D :D :D
