Neighbor Mike the kiter gave the spit fishbowl a rest and came out to play in the waves.

Took the afternoon off to enjoy some Easterlies. Went to CP but too offshore at 1st boatramp, too direct onshore at 2nd boatramp so headed to Willows and wind direction was just right. Rigged up a mostly flat 6.0m as there was 10-14kts and it was looking so sweet!! Got out and the wind had lessened down to 8-10kts. Looked like some more out by Cattle Pt so headed that way. Gorgeous summery conditions silver seas! Morning session with Poper, Danno, Twiz, and DocMark was just wonderful. Warm, sunny, with nice steady winds. It was quite fun. Took a break and tried for a second sesh with my biggest wing. 2nd sesh Not as fun, winds were reduced and unpredictable. Still a good day regardless.

Arrived to windy looking bay on the outside. Went with the 3m. First reach outbound I was tailing Windoc who was boosting some nice air! Looked to be a good 6+ feet off the water. Turned out to be a great wavy session with some big GS groomed smooth slopes to slide around on. Fun! BigWaveDave and I presciently foretold of the impending wind shutdown and were happily back at the beach when it tanked, while a few were left to paddle in.

Pretty damn good I'd say. Arrived to sun, swell and wind which is always nice. The sun didn't last long but there was skate park conditions with steep smooth swell. First day on the 680 and it's really good and feels quite a bit smaller than the 780.

Arrived at 2:30pm to Ryan rigging up his 6.0m, said he was just out on his 8m but wind is picking up. It looked like 13-18kts so I rigged a fat 4.5m Sailworks Flyer and 1263cm2 foil. Well, I lasted 5 mins and decided to come in and flatten out the 4.5m as I was waaaay overpowered as it had picked up to 20-25kts. Lots more Winger arriving and getting out. After a brutal choppy/windy/freezing SUP foil out west, I was alerted to the westerly having filled in to RB. Grabbed my gear and decided to remount my straps to work on jumping again. RB dawn patrol. It seemed a bit bleak when I arrived but the tiny gusts of what little wind there was were so westerly I made a Papal leap of faith that there would be more wind offshore. Once I got to the wind line it was actually pretty good and I was out for the first 45 min by myself. Danno, DrMark and Ang joined and the wind picked up more. Got one Tweeze-by and came off the water just as TunaCan was about to launch. The sun was out, decent wind, a pretty solid session!

Arrived to 8-12kts with H-Rock having a nap in his vanlife van. I rigged up a very fat 6.0m quickly as I was short of time. Headed out with H-Rock still snoozing and wind completely died. 30 mins to get back in to shore and H-Rock had woken up and packed up his gear and left. I came in and started taking apart my sail and BOOM, the wind came back, 10-13kts so rigged up again quick and headed out. A promising OSR from the Twizard of Foil gave me something to do this afternoon. Marginal winds and, initially, way too much work to lift on my small 6m, so I switched to my 6.2m beast and was quickly rewarded. There were lots of pockets of wind to chase and was able to catch with a bit of pumping. Light wind winging with some of my slowest jibes ever. Nice chill, no crashes session to feed that foil rat in my belly that's always hungry for flight. Reduced after half an hour and I went home sated!

Rainy, cold, wind, wonderful! Blew up my 5m, then Bobson came back in saying it was too big so I blew up my 4m. then it reduced and went out on my 5m for a gloriously well powered hour. Took a break and a short van-nap and got set up for session 2. Winds felt weaker for me so I went with my 6m. Bad move, but I'm stubborn so I thrashed around well OP'd for a half hour until it was time for me to cook supper. Great to share the sweet swells with the elites and dream of getting that good.

Didn't look too appealing when i arrived in the rain but lots of people out so went ahead and got ready. Super fun once i got out with some nice small swell to play on and practiced some jumping and even managed to start landing some goofy foot jumps so i can jump on the way out and ride swell back. Managed to stay warm as i was crashing so much and working hard getting back on board . Good to see big group out on rainy Sunday.

How Short?
Arrived on schedule, stoked to try my new Armstrong set from WindDoc. With enough enthusiasm, I could make a 50cm fuse glide gracefully. Staring at it some more, I started to question laws of physics. Maybe later for sea trials :/
ThePope appeared in the distance and pulled a shiny new 60cm fuse from the popemobile. I was saved. It's truly a miracle how many spare parts he carries on that bike, the basket never empties :o

Showed up for an evening session, and everybody was packing up. Looked very gusty, cold, and flat. Went out on the 4m and it was in fact gusty, cold, and flat. Well overpowered on the 4m and with frozen hands, I went in and pumped up the 3m and warmed up. Went back out, and the swell got better, and the hands felt great (weird how that happens). Ran out of light, but enjoyable solo session. You get what you get and you dont get upset!
