Very nice day at the lake. It was warm and the wind was soft near the shore but my 14.5 Flite and Tiki board were perfect for the wind on offer. It was quite flat and the water was warm, Tiki conditions indeed. I spent an hour and a half on the Tiki just cruising and trying my tack turns, it was sunny and beautiful. The wind did build a bit and I thought about going down to a 12m but I never felt overpowered so I just came in to switch to the Duke. I went for a long upwind trek and was all by myself way up there. The wind was lighter up there but still enough. I came back down to the river mouth and played in some small wind swell waves and also worked on tack turns. After 3+ hours I came in and spent two lovely hours watching the sun slowly set behind the mountain. It is quite quiet here, not too many people, so I felt quite connected to the lake and hills as I wrote this on the beach with no one in sight. Bliss.
