a colleague at work just shared with me a way to listen to all the smart meter energy data in your neighbourhood .. .cost ==> 20 bucks . You just buy a USB dongle off ebay. It doesn't look like the BC hydro data is secure at all. You can tap into the energy data coming from dozens of meters. But ...

that's it :D One thing I forgot to mention. The dates on the panels are grenwich(sp?) time, which is ahead of us by 7 or 8 hrs, depending on time of year. So, a panel marked with 12Z SAT (noon grenwich), would actually be 5am on the west coast (noon minus 7 hours). To my eye, it looks good from Sun ...

Looks like Nanmoo is onto something ... the 9-panel oracle is calling for Pistol wind every day starting as early as Sat. Unfortunately, I can't make it this year - teacher's strike forced my vacation hand, and hips likely too creaky anyhow.

I just read that the City of Victoria is updating its master cycling plan. If you are a cyclist take a minute and let the city know your needs.
