Membership sale at Sidney North Saanich Yacht Club

In case anyone is interrested in sailing boats, here is a screaming deal. The club has a martin242 and a Capri 25 that are both available to members. Also there are Lasers, International 420's and FJ's. Oh, and the club has a bar/restaurant. There is an Open House May 7th 1-4 pm. http://www.snsyc.ca...

OK, here is a brief summary of what happened at CB on Saturday September 25th and our synopsis of what we did wrong. Hopefully this will help others and us in the future. The wind was strong. We spent some time assessing the conditions and talked to people who had been kiting and windsurfing. I laun...

I use the model regularly for Kitesurfing, boat sailing and fishing. I know many other recreational boaters use this information as well. Even crews participating in the Swiftsure race use the model data. To be sure, this is NOT a profit generating site. Any donations collected over time have gone t...

Nice video Greg! I also like the race scene. I agree with BWD, it will be very cool to see a big swell day at Gordos!

Any RC pilots out there? OK, I think the spare cam should be a roaming drone, searching the coast for great wind and waves. http://video.google.fr/videoplay?docid= ... 3453839215

I was working in Cañas last March. It was about a 25-30 minute drive to Lk. Arenal. We drove up one afternoon. The wind was good. There were two windsurfers out on 4.2's. Something to keep in mind though if you have non-windsurfers with you,......... even though it was 30C and sunny in Cañas, up at ...

I didn't learn on the Mako but I've been riding one for three summers now. I think you would have no difficulty learning on this board. If you go down to the beach (Cook Street) on any windy day, you will likely be able to see and touch a few Makos. :D
