Re: How the Wing-Thing is going.....
lol At ~200lbs the 105L board has been minimum volume for me. If the wind drops to 0-2 then I need to paddle but if a few knots I can slog on my knees back to shore. I would akin smaller volume wingfoil boards to smaller volume windsurfing boards in that its for those days where the wind is guarante...

Re: Downwind foil with assist
I see you photoshopped out Leonardo DiCaprio. I thought I could see a little “puff” right at Max Q, kind of like something gave. Hopefully next time we’ll get to see that booster return to the cradle! Ok, I digress — back to downwind foiling. Personally I prefer winging upwind and doing short downwi...

Re: Downwind foil with assist
Hanging out on South Padre Island for a few days. No wind. Drove over to Space X to take a look at the next Starship vehicles (launch is mid-November). Asked Elon for a factory second for my downwind foil assist project. Here we are loading it on the roof of my BMW X5. Space X is a lot less secure ...

Recommendations on any beginner-intermediate areas near Astoria or Fort Stevens? Jetty Lagoon? Too much current or traffic? With the kids but only there for a day.

Re: GPS Tracking how to's
nvm found the other threads.
Wear under wetsuit.
I turned off the feature that activates screen when you raise your arm.
Used Strava (had to pay, prob not worth it)
Found that if you log into Strava on browser you can “crop” it and remove the drive home when you forget.

Re: GPS Tracking how to's
anyone use iphone for gps tracks? I just replaced my old one using points and wondering what app to use. Any settings that help it not accidentally stop recording, or whatever? Do you wear it under wetsuit or just in front of the wetsuit sleeve? My last early generation iwatch got waterlogged eventu...

Re: Foils for Wingfoiling
I got an Axis 400 Progressive rear foil recently. I had read a while back and had decided ~300 is probably more what I'm after, but for some reason forgot when I ordered and got the big 400. Ever since riding with it, its been super stable but at times too stable, even with a sportier front foil som...

Re: Foiling Flat Tires
I was thinking mast flex but you're using Axis mast. I use the even longer 1050cm Axis mast and don't feel mast flex, but when I had a cracked rear wing, it gave a similar feeling occasionally, before I replaced it. 19mm width mast is the one I use. Are you using 16mm or 19? I use a similarly sized ...
