First off I am a kiter. Second, rigging more than one kite at a time has its value, as does rigging more than one sail. When the Nat goes 16 kits at noon, most want to be out on a 16+ m, when it picks up to 20+ most want to come in and switch to their 12+m, and when it nukes 30knots well, most go in ...

If its for your girl, make sure it fits her reallllly well. Women tend to get cold a lot faster than men, which means a shorter session for both of you ... So try and find a female specific suit like a Roxy, or XCEL makes womens suits too - and they are a great bang for your buck. For anyone else ...

I understand your gripe with people unwilling to help...but it doesn't sound like he was out there flailing around yelling for help and nobody would come to help....the guy decided to go for a swim...maybe he is a good triathalon swimmer and nobody knew. People sometimes CHOOSE to do things others ...

Un-spinning center kite lines?
Anyone rig up a swivel or something for unspinning their center lines on an airush-like bar system. Of course the outer lines up spin, but unless you match your front rolls with back rolls then the center lines get worse and worse. Ive heard the USD or SSS sytem of Naish doesn't fly too well, but ...

First of all dont blame the attitude on a CITY!!!Nothing pisses me off more than some group thinking they are better than others because of where they come from - this includes islanders. Although I strongly believe the majority of the people who live on the west coast are great, hospitable, mature ...

I'm trying for the last week in August, but even if we say Manzanita for one day of sailing to represent the Canadian contingent, that would be fun Here’s some Coast info: Oregon Coast S ...

10" Board grab handle??
Just wondering if anyone knows of any rigid grab handles that sell for a 10" bolt spread rather than the now standard 8" spread. I've made my own in the past out of fiber-hose etc, but I'd really like a solid one. I've though about making one out of wood? or casting one in resin maybe? Any ...
