Alberni Valley Adventure, Wild West Watersports help lead

Wild West Watersports in Port Alberni have been instrumental in helping put the Alberni valley on the map over the past six months.

Most recently, we have assisted Alberni Tourism in applying for over $220,000.00 in government grants to help raise awareness of the Adventure potential of the Alberni valley.

With the assistance of many people, including many BWD wind enthusiasts, who are keen to get back on the windy inlet this summer, much work has been accomplished to pull together these two major applications for government grants to support the collective efforts of the outdoor adventure companies in the Alberni valley, 'Alberni Valley Adventure' Group, which Wild West Watersports is a part.

Watch the windy city of Port Alberni, town in transition, start to shine like a jewel in the rough! We look forward to seeing many of you this upcoming spring 2011.
