If you can afford gas these are comfy for the lake. Makes weekend getaways easier then tenting too.

any home on wheels will cost a bit more fuel or ur paying way more for the lease/loan of a Sprinter or similar

Great thing about these are typically low mileages, low parts costs and easy maintenance and you don't lose your mind when you scratch it

Plus you pack it once, ready to go! Priceless

Tenting however is probably the most effective if you're driving a civic or similar small gas-wise car and you don't have to insure it or fill it with gas!

some nice features like the swivel table to the outside & the back shower accessory, however these things have NO room for any toys inside and you basically need to be a skinny lilliputian to fit in there....their concept of "lots of storage space" is based on the afternoon picnic expectation, not several overnighters with gear

The new line of RUV's is more in line but of course no fuel efficient diesel

when will Americans get it figured out

otherwise and apart from the abbyssmal fuel economy (6cyl or diesel would be ok) I was just reflecting that I kinda miss that rig for its space

front end design always sucked, doesn't like the Nat road for sure, why Sportmobile used that front end to modify to 4x4 I'll never understand.
