Ski Season
We're gonna need much bigger skis....firstonlastoff wrote:yup, even Mount Baker staff was caught off-guard with this update, their anticipatory-drool is now adding to the snowpack... Last season was very good, and it was a top 3 ever snowfall, I think, possibly another top snowfall this coming season.
KC7777, commentary ?
Ya I am drooling. I bought a Whistler seasons pass last month for skiing with Dagne. And I am buying a seasons pass at Mt. Baker for myself and my two sons. This will be my first year ever with two season passes!
The "ski budget" is for 77 days this year. And I am gonna post the ski days in my windsurfing log. Just to irritate some bwd members.
FYI...gonna be at Whistler over Xmas, but I just booked the Blue T Lodge at Baker for the nights of Dec 30 and 31....its only $139US per night for a room with two queen beds.... its the lodge right beside the Chair 9 pub....sleeps 4 to a room so $34.75 per person per night. Pretty basic rooms (no kitchen) but just eat at Wake-n-Bake in the am, bring lunch meat for sandwiches and drink at Chair 9 pub for dinner? Google it.
These pics are Baker....
