Wow nice. Would be nice if more local businesses that regularly use BWD website would do the same.
1 vote for Ross Bay if there's a suitable mount location.

Yeah wow BCFerries. Nice one! Only a couple hundred bucks more is needed and it would be an all time high donation year.

Re: bye bye 2024

Post by bwd »

Happy New Year everyone! Here are some numbers from 2024 for you to look at:

Donations
$8633 was raised from 92 donations. This is a record and beats last year by almost $600.

We have a great community here. Big thanks to all of the donors and contributors to the website. It would not exist without you.

Sailing Logs
75 sailors posted 2816 sailing logs. This has been fairly consistent since 2019.
2013 was a record year with 114 sailors (2737 total logs). We have less sailors logging now, but each sailor is doing more logs.

GPS Tracks
A records year of GPS logs with 31 sailors posting 1357 tracks and 33,407 kms travelled and 1767 hours (73.5 days!) logged.

Wishing you a healthy, happy and windy 2025.

xoxo
