Weather forecasting by Jimmy Lewis!!

Post by bwd »

JL has joined the BWD crew and is now the resident forecaster. Look for his local report on the forecasts page. Jim has years of experience with the wind, weather, tides and currents, windsurfing, kiteboarding, coast guard etc. Thanks Jim, and we're counting on you to tell us where to go!

I think the forecasts need to be more detailed ie:

"Peak winds of 26 knots will hit Island View at 2:45pm and will last for 2 hours"

That way I can plan my day better.

BWD site just keeps getting better! Great to have Jim's long experience summarizing the endlessly complex weather (I overanalyse myself, now I'll just read the forcast and go  ).
