Kiteboarding Party in vancouver for the Red Cross

Post by skypilot »

We are having a bash at the Shark Club downtown Vancouver on Sept 30th. We will be raffling off the Naish Raven 10m and numerous door prizes including - Turbolaunchers, Line Managers, Sunglasses and more swag from the Shark Club.

All proceeds will go to the Red Cross - we will be playing kite vids, spinning some tunes and embracing the community.

The island scene is an amazing community, thanks to Dave for putting in the time to make a great community forum for the island. We would be stoked to have an opportunity to meet some of the island crowd at a great party for a great cause.

Hi Dan: sounds like a great event for a great cause. I wish I could make it over there and meet some of you guys. Have fun and good work putting together the fundraiser.

Your website is looking really good!

Hey Dave,

We should plan a joint party next spring to bring the communities together. A Big Wave Dave and Skypilot party would be a great way to set the tone for the season and a cool opportunity to meet everyone.

Let's consider it!

That would be suppperrrrr cool, big party, but why just limit it to kiters?? how bout all wind junkies?? what better way to learn bout both sports (I never windsurfed before) than hangin round and yakin with everyone?

Our party in Vancouver is a joint windsurf/kitesurfing party - Our Squamish/Vancouver crowd were and still are hard core windsurfers. The two sports are highly dependent on each other and we would be all over celebrating the wind as a group!

Let's plan something for the spring!
