GPS Watch

Post by Slickmick »

Can anyone recommend a good GPS watch that would work well with a Android phone? I see you guys on here all the time with the cool GPS tracks :) Garmin Instinct 2 Surf Edition 45mm Smartwatch looks promising but what do you guys use/recommend?

I'm on the Polar bandwagon. They have always worked well for me.
I have lent out my last Polar (Ignite) to a couple guys on here (Windjunky and TunaCan).
It's free so if you want to give it a try before you buy something, I think TunaCan has it currently so you can get it from him.

I'm now using the Polar Vantage M because it has longer battery life and it's not a touch screen.

The Polar's go on sale 2 or 3 times a year so if you want to buy one of them, that's when to buy them as they are 40% off then.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
DOOD!!
Good Times,
BOBSON!!

Any Garmin users may want to see if their watch is compatible with this:

https://apps.garmin.com/en-CA/apps/9f6d ... ff9d04054e

Looks like it might be interesting, although it seems to be written specifically for the GPS Team Challenge mostly in Australia (although there is a bit of international participation) - https://www.gpsteamchallenge.com.au/
